About Easeful

We are a family business, established in 2019.

Easeful offers a variety of services to locals and weekenders in Columbia County, NY and Berkshire County, MA, helping make life simpler and more relaxed. 

For several years, I owned a home in East Chatham, NY that I rented out for part of the year. We came up most weekends and helped out at our friends’ place, Buttonwood Hollow Farm, as much as we could. We moved to Columbia County full time in 2019, and we love living here.

I’m interested in making the world a kinder place, earning an honest living, building meaningful relationships, and supporting a sustainable local economy. I have made lots of connections in Columbia and Berkshire counties over the years and I love to help others find and support the small businesses and initiatives I trust.

Who We Are

Vicki Larson lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn for 12 years before moving to Rockland County, NY in 2007 and spending 12 years there. She worked in marketing and communications at a Waldorf school for many years, and is now a full-time consultant to schools and nonprofit organizations. Vicki has also been a teacher and tutor, an editor, a community organizer, a translator and interpreter (se habla español), among other roles.

Vicki’s daughter Olivia (now in college) contributes to Easeful by providing some childcare and pet care; she loves children and animals and is bilingual like her mom. Olivia attended Waldorf school for many years and is an entrepreneur by nature. She has set some ambitious life goals for herself and is currently studying, working, and saving money for her future.
